Our Keesenji puppies are half Basenji, half Keeshond. Both rare breeds, but together, they make a perfect companion dog!
Lincoln – Male
Meet our charming little guy, Lincoln! He is quite the little heart throb with his mama’s Basenji markings! This little guy has the perfect combination of Basenji playfulness and Keeshond loyalty. He is quite adorable when he lays around in awkward positions and swats at you when he wants to play (both Basenji traits). You might think because he is part Basenji, he would have a tendency to be aloof, but that’s where the Keeshond in him comes out. When you call Lincoln, he comes to you and sits right away because he already knows if he sits, he’ll get attention in some way or another whether it’s a treat or a pet. Lincoln takes after his mama in that he doesn’t bark, even though some of his litter mates make occasional barking noises.
Bentley – Male
This little fella is my favorite in the litter (although, I don’t think I’m supposed to be biased!) With his gentle and calm demeanor, he exudes a friendly vibe that instantly puts everyone at ease. This little sweetheart seems to possess a remarkable sensitivity, often worrying about disappointing you, which showcases his loving nature. When he sees you coming, he will lay down and roll over on his back, instantly submitting, and hoping you’ll pet him. On the other hand, he can be a bit timid with new dogs and new people, but warms up when given a treat as if to say, “It’s okay.” He is content to stay out of trouble and just wanders around looking for his next adventure.
Ferrari – Female
Ferrari is a bundle of joy with a charming personality that will steal your heart! This little girl is not only cute but also incredibly curious, always eager to explore the world around her. With her genuine spirit, she’s sure to bring endless smiles and love to your home. Perfectly socialized and bursting with energy, this puppy is ready to be your new best friend and companion in all of life’s adventures!
Cadillac – Female
Cadillac is an adorable little girl boasting a delightful mix of Basenji and Keeshond traits. Meet the Parents
Dexter is an AKC registered Keeshond, fully vaccinated, and his parents are PHPT negative. He is a sensitive lover boy who wouldn’t hurt a flea, loving to spend time with his human mama. Dexter dearly adores chasing balls and will happily play with anyone willing to engage, although he is quick to submit if they are too rough during playtime. Standing at 19 inches tall and weighing 45 pounds, his playful yet gentle nature makes him a delightful companion and I know these qualities and traits are sure to pass along to his babies!
Casey is an AKC registered Basenji, fully vaccinated, and her parents are Fanconi negative. She is a mild-mannered Basenji and is eager to listen, despite the independent nature of her breed. Very sweet, Casey demands your attention whenever she enters a room or when someone else does, as she knows everything going on and never misses a thing. A lively addition to our family here at the ranch, she is loved by everyone, and I expect all of her puppies to be just as cherished as she is!
