If you are at the ranch in the morning you may see her following my dad, without a halter or lead rope into the house to get some coffee. She likes to hang out in the house and have some snacks too. (I’m not joking.) She is actually pretty sure that she would like to live indoors because she has noticed that people live in slightly better accommodations and she is very sure that she is better than the other horses outside! In addition to being a little pest, she also has a great pedigree and with her size will either finish into a gentle riding mount or a lovely mother.

She had been seperated from her mother and sold when she was far too young. We bought her as a charity case and we sure are glad we did. By God’s grace and with a lot of nursing she has now grown into a pretty snazzy looking lady. Or maybe I should say half a lady, she has an attitude! She must be partly Arabian with that baby doll face(these pictures do not do her justice). Her long lovely legs stride across the ground like a dancer, graceful and sure. She is easy to catch, groom. She loves snacks!
She has a bum shoulder so her full time job is broodmare. But what a great mother! We bred her to our quarter horse stallion last time and…Whew! What a baby! Absolutely gorgeous confirmation and a great head. She was a great mother and didn’t have a minute’s trouble. Consider adding this girl to your herd if you need a companion horse that can earn her keep.

Due to an old injury she is no longer a riding horse. but would be a great horse for anyone that needs a broodmare they can lead their grandkids around on. Jeri was bred in 2022 and had a handsome bay colt. Check out our horse Ringo to see what kind of colts she is capable of raising.
