Aside from having a wonderful ski resort the City of Taos has been a mecca of artists for hundreds of years. The history of Taos begins over a 1000 years ago when the Pueblo Indians built their homes in this beautiful river valley. The Taos Pueblos are still standing and are still called home by descendants of the original Native Americans.
If you would prefer to spend the day in town rather than skiing there are hundreds of cute shops, museums, art galleries and restaurants.
